GENERAL TOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I. VALIDITY, RATES AND INCLUSIONS

  1. The rates, packages, and inclusions of all products and services availed with EON Travel & Tours shall be valid on a limited time only, thus subject to change without prior notice.
  2. Nothing is booked until receipt of signed confirmation and settlement of required deposit; hence, any surcharges arising from the adjustments made prior the confirmation shall be applied.
  3. By nature, any form of travel requires considerable flexibility and should allow for alternatives, thus the packages, inclusions, itinerary sequence, mode of transport, accommodation, flight schedules etc., are subject to change depending on availability and local conditions such as weather, holidays, traffic, policies, regulations, and/or any circumstances beyond control.
  4. Any items and services not included in the package and itinerary is upon request and subject to availability and surcharge.

 

II. CONFIRMATION, PAYMENT AND BILLING SETTLEMENT

  1. The Required non-refundable deposit of 30% of total amount, or amount specified to proposal, must be settled by the guest to confirm reservation until the given option date otherwise reservation shall be released without due notice.
  2. The 70% of the total amount, and/or all remaining payments including but not limited to surcharges, compulsory charges, government mandated charges, other specified charges, must be paid in full at least 1 month prior the departure or until the given deadline, otherwise Eon Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel reservation and forfeit all payments made.
  3. For installment plans, the guest guarantees timely payment due on every 15th of the month without the demand for payment, otherwise Eon Travel reserves the right to invalidate the reservation due to non-performance of the obligation.
  4. All Payment can be settled directly at any Eon Travel & Tours offices or through the bank accounts: Account Name: EON TRAVEL AND TOURS CORP.; Account Number: BDO (P) 0049-9801-8329; BPI (P) 2830-0085-25; BDO ($)104-990268-108.
  5. For payments made through bank, validated deposit slip with written name, contact number and confirmation number must be sent through email, travel@eongroup.com.ph
  6. Eon Travel & Tours shall not record and account all payment claims due to failure of submission of any valid proof of remittance.

 

III. TRAVEL DOCUMENT AND VISA (If applicable)

  1. The guest shall submit all documents, mandatory or additional, deemed required for travel and/or by the institution concerned at least two (2) months prior the travel dates or until the given option date including but not limited to scanned copy of passport, visa application requirement.
  2. Eon Travel and Tours reserves the right to cancel any confirmed reservation made without further notice due to failure in submission of required travel documents and/or rejects any applications made which do not qualify to the standards prescribed on the prescribed deadline without any refund.
  3. The guest agrees to allow Eon Travel & Tours reproduce and/or store copy of documents relevant to purpose and can only be returned once completed, requested to be changed and/or has been cleared to any financial obligations.
  4. The guest authorizes Eon Travel and Tours or any of its official representatives to process and transact for the request made as part of the package or as optional request.
  5. Eon Travel and Tours shall perform on its best efforts to provide assistance for all services requested but does and cannot guarantee results, thus, guest shall not hold Eon Travel and Tours liable for any denials and disapprovals decided and executed upon by the institution concerned.
  6. Eon Travel & Tours can assist but shall not be held liable and responsible for other travel documents which may deem required by agencies and/or institution prior, during or after the travel period like but not limited to travel authority, and immigration clearance, travel insurance, medical clearances, passes and other pertinent documents.
  7. Eon Travel and Tours and its representatives undertake to exercise confidentiality and diligence in caring for the documents which it customarily exercises to its own property, however, it accepts no responsibility for any untoward incident to the documents that may arise beyond its control.
  8. Guest allows Eon Travel & Tours to reproduce and/or store copy of documents relevant to purpose in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
  9. Eon Travel and Tours reserves the right to withhold travel documents of guests and only be returned once completed for processing, requested to be changed and/or has been cleared to any financial obligations.

 

IV. CONFIRMATION VOUCHER, ITINERARY AND TRAVEL KITS

  1. Travel kits containing but not limited to the confirmation voucher, electronic ticket, hotel voucher, itinerary, reminders and instructions, travel taxes, travel insurance (if applicable) etc. will be released at least 5 days prior the departure schedule provided fully paid.
  2. Guest must review the content of the all documents provided in travel kits. Lead guest/guest has the sole responsibility in ensuring the provision of accurate travel information and traveler’s basic information. EON TRAVEL will not be held liable for the inaccurate information provided.

 

V. BOOKING AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION

  1. Eon Travel & Tours reserves the sole discretion for any amendment and cancellation request.
  2. All bookings made are considered guaranteed, hence, any amendment/cancellation will have the following applicable fees
    • 90 days beyond prior travel date – Deposit Only
    • 61-90 days prior travel – Deposit + 30% of Total Amount
    • 31 – 59 days prior travel – Deposit + 50% of Total Amount
    • 0 – 30 days prior travel – Deposit + 100% of Total Amount
  3. In the event of error in travel document and booking has been finalized, booking amendments are subject to availability and applicable surcharges or applicable fees (whichever is higher)
  4. Eon Travel & Tours provides the following option in the event of amendments and cancellation of trip. This is applicable provided that there are no other charges and pending refunds from travel partners such as airline and hotel. In the event that the travel suppliers withhold any fees, surcharges or expenses had been incurred, this will be deducted from the refund.
    • Visa Denial: Option to Transfer, Travel Fund or Refund 
    • Failure to meet minimum number of persons required in a group: Option to Transfer, Travel Fund or Refund
    • Natural disasters, terrorism attack, political instability, travel ban, or other fortuitous events which will seriously affect the planned itinerary: Option to Transfer or Travel Fund Only
  5. Releasing of refund shall only be done upon its availability or once refund has been initiated by the third-party supplier.
  6. Cancellation of trip brought by untoward causes like immigration holding, medical constraints, late from schedule and other circumstantial occurrence deemed failure on the part of the guest to provide nor perform shall not be accorded for refund.

 

VI. TRAVEL REMINDERS FOR FILIPINO CITIZEN FOR TOURIST PURPOSES (INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL ONLY)

  1. Valid DFA-issued passport (at least six-months valid from the date of departure)
  2. Valid visa (if visa-required at final destination)
  3. Return ticket
  4. No Hold Departure Order / Pending Issues with Bureau of Immigration (if with previous travel issues)
  5. Philippines Travel Tax (If not included in the ticket). Applicable to Philippine passport holders and Philippine residents; Foreigners who are permanently residing or immigrants in the Philippines and Foreigners who have stayed in the Philippines for more than one year.
  6. DSWD issued Travel Clearance: if a Filipino minor (18 below) is traveling alone to a foreign country; or a Filipino minor is traveling to a foreign country accompanied by a person other than his/her parents.
  7. Travel Authority: For Government officials, cabinet members, employees of the government, GOCC, State Universities and Colleges, and Technical and Vocational Schools need to secure a travel authority even if on leave of absence.

 

VII. REPRESENTATION, COMPLAINTS & OTHERS

  1. In the event of group bookings, Eon Travel & Tours shall deal with the Lead Guest and as the lead guest therefore, on behalf of the group, will take the responsibility in the decision making, representation and cascading of information to all other companions, of any changes and other important updates regarding the trip.
  2. Eon Travel and Tours may assist but not be liable to any domestic flights affected by the changes in the international flights, thus all guests are strongly requested to align their domestic and international flights with the same airline carrier for proper handling, connection and convenience in the event of any flight disruptions and changes.
  3. Any cancellations of trips brought about by force majeure, government policies and regulations, political and medical situations, weather conditions, airline-imposed changes and other uncontrollable situations shall not be the liability of Eon Travel & Tours or of its third-party suppliers.
  4. Guest must be fit in lieu of travel. Eon Travel & Tour shall not be held liable in any form on any health problem/s that may occur during the trip brought about by the pre-existing illness/es disclosed or undisclosed by client.
  5. Eon Travel & Tours, its employees, travel partners, suppliers and/or operators shall not be held liable for any untoward incident like but not limited to loss, accident, injury, damage to property, change, delay or cancellation of flights, baggage and itinerary, theft, regardless due to guest negligence.
  6. All and any other concerns not specified on the General Terms and Conditions shall be dealt accordingly with the management of Eon Travel & Tours.
  7. If guests have complaints about the trip, inform immediately the Tour Guide or the Tour Coordinator immediately in order to resolve the matter.
  8. Any feedbacks and complaints shall be entertained within 3-5 days after the end of the tour in writing submitted by hand or email at travel@eongroup.com.ph
